About the artist

Natália Junasová, a young artist hailing from Partizánske and born in 1990, exhibited a remarkable artistic talent and a vivid child’s imagination from an early age. Between 2005 and 2010, she honed her skills by studying Applied Painting at the Dezider Kardoš Private Conservatory of Applied Art in Topoľčany. Later, she extended her expertise in the realm of Promotional Art, specializing in manual textile processing at the same institution.

Junasová’s paintings are characterized by a profound sense of artistic abstraction, achieved through the use of simplified object outlines, predominantly formed by delicate, linear strokes and an expressive palette of colors. Her work delves into the intricacies of microbiological relationships, the functioning of diverse phenomena in the surrounding world, and an exploration of ancient cultures and their enduring legacies, all through the lens of natural human curiosity.

Beyond these themes, she fearlessly delves into the examination of consumer society and the intricate web of social relations, as well as the exploration of emotions in their most elementary form. Junasová’s ultimate objective is to provoke contemplation on profound questions, employing the power of positive emotions as her artistic vehicle.
